Navigating Anxiety Together
If you commonly find yourself caught in cycles of worry or feeling a persistent sense of unease, please know that you don't have to carry this alone. In my practice, I work with clients navigating various forms of anxiety, including generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), social anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and panic disorder. Whether you are experiencing the intrusive thoughts of OCD, managing specific phobias, or seeking support for perinatal anxiety during the transition to parenthood, I provide a warm, client-centered space to explore these feelings without judgment.

Common Symptoms You Might Notice
Anxiety can manifest in many different ways. You might notice these common physical, cognitive, and emotional signs as you navigate your day-to-day life.

Physical Sensations
You may experience a racing heart, shortness of breath, muscle tension, or a constant feeling of being 'on edge' and physically restless.

Persistent Worry
Continuous, intrusive thoughts about the future, 'what-if' scenarios, or difficulty quietening your mind, even when you are trying to rest.

Avoidance Behaviors
Avoiding social situations, specific places, or certain tasks because the anxiety feels overwhelming, which can lead to isolation.
An Integrative Approach to Anxiety Support
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
I use CBT to help you identify the patterns and cycles that keep anxiety feeling so heavy. Together, we investigate the connection between your thoughts, emotions, physical reactions, and actions to develop practical tools to help you navigate generalized anxiety, panic, and phobias with more ease and clarity.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) & Mindfulness
Through a mindfulness-based lens, ACT allows us to acknowledge difficult feelings without letting them take the driver's seat. I work with you to stay grounded in the present moment, helping you move toward a life that aligns with your values, even when anxiety tries to pull you away.
Somatic and Trauma-Informed Care
Anxiety often lives in the body long before it reaches our words. My practice is deeply trauma informed, integrating somatic approaches to help you process physiological symptoms of anxiety. We collaboratively create a safe and gentle environment to settle your nervous system and build long-term resilience.
Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)
Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) is an approach that helps us gently shift from self‑criticism and shame toward warmth, understanding, and care for ourselves, especially when anxiety feels loud or overwhelming. Together, we explore how your nervous system has learned to protect you, and we practice new ways of relating to your worries and fears with kindness rather than judgment. This can be especially helpful if you tend to feel like you are “too much,” “not enough,” or often worry about letting others down, and notice that these patterns fuel your anxiety.
Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a brief, strengths‑based approach that focuses on what is already working in your life, even when anxiety feels heavy. Rather than spending all our time on the problem, we look for small, realistic steps that move you toward the life you want. Together, we clarify your goals, notice your existing coping skills, and build on your successes so that anxiety feels less in control and you feel more grounded and hopeful.
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is a structured, evidence‑based approach often used to treat OCD, phobias, and certain forms of anxiety. We gently and collaboratively face the situations, thoughts, or sensations that trigger anxiety, while practicing new ways of responding instead of engaging in familiar safety behaviors or rituals. This is done at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you, so over time your nervous system learns that you can handle these experiences without anxiety running the show.
